Purdue Space Program: A SEDS Chapter - Active Controls
Purdue Space Program (PSP) is an interdisciplinary student organization dedicated to rocketry and aerospace innovation, comprising 500 undergraduates from various engineering disciplines. I was responsible for creating a new branding line for Active Controls, the organization’s R&D team that focuses on advancing vertical takeoff, vertical landing technology (VTVL).

The Main Question
“How can we expand Active Controls’ current branding and create a new line that is out of this world?”
Background
ASTRA and TADPOLE
Active Controls is one of PSP’s newest teams that started in the fall semester of 2021. They have been working on two main projects, ASTRA and TADPOLE. ASTRA is a propulsive liquid lander and TADPOLE is a regeneratively cooled IPA/LOX engine. The team wanted to have a merchandise line that celebrates the two inaugural projects.
